Missionary Week

My Seminary Council has put together something splendid! Missionary week! I can feel how amazing this week can be transformed into.
What is truly amazing is how I was trying to add many parts of missionary week already in my life! But there is lots more I can be doing, such is life. :)
Recently I have been reading my grandmother's history book. What a special blessing it is to me. The stories are such beauty to my heart. I will expound later!

If You Know Me, Truly

You then know I LOVE having me picture taken! Which is odd, and seemingly self-centered of me. Well my friends and I had a brilliant idea! Take a picture of us for like 5 years everyday! I like the idea. Not sure when we will start, but I'll give you a sample today.

P.s. I purposely made on of the ridiculous duck faces everyone is always complaining about.

Power Struggle

My mom has two college suggestions that under no circumstances will I oblige.
1. Cut my hair fourish inches.
2. Not take my blanket I got for Christmas to take to college. :(

Another Side of My Mum

My mom dials a number on her phone. On the other line, loud and clear is the booming voice of her brother. Abandoning the usual dictation of my mum, she burst with foreign phrases for my ears. It seems as if my mother has a whole different personality that is evident when she speaks to her brothers. And it is absolute fun to listen on to, besides it would be hard to ignore with the volume raised higher then usual.

Building Blocks

Words cannot paint to you the beauty the Brigham City temple brings to my life. I remember the day my dear prophet announced that a temple was to be built in my little home town. I was beyond excited!
During the last two years my temple has been under construction. I have witnessed every step along the way. As the temple has been built, I too have gone through building.
The temple means the world to me. I remember last summer, I was going through a particularly difficult time. Then the Brigham City temple came to mind. It was then I realized the extent that my Father in Heaven knows and loves me. The temple is a symbol of His infinite and eternal love for me. I will be forever greatfull for the night He taught me. Since then the most stunning building blocks have been placed in my life. I know that I am being built along side my temple.
