Let Me Explain Myself

You may be wondering why this blog is titled "Half Vulcan, Half Human, All Me." Well let me explain! If you are a Trekkie then this will make sense to you! My dad is super logical like a Vulcan. My mom is an emotional person like humans are. I am almost a strange mix of half and half. I am kinda like Spock! Once my friend told me that my dream career was surprising. She thought I was "too logical for that." Well that is when my Human side kicks in and defends myself! So I say, along with Walt Disney, 'It is kind of fun to do the impossible,' even if it doesn't seem logical.If we use our logic to do the illogical then it all becomes logical in the end! Haha... New Adventure! :D

I have been packing, packing, sorting, packing, organizing, and cleaning! And I still have so much packing to do! Whoa! Here are some fun pictures to give you some idea of what I am facing. This is the first time I have moved since I was five, which I am sure I was a very effective packer... at age five... or not....

"It's a snow day!"

Everytime my nephew sleeps over it just happens to randomly snow! So he wakes up, finds me, wakes me ups and says, "It's a snow day! Today is Christmas!"

This time I was so tired I just looked blankly at him and said, "Okay, it's Christmas then!"

FBLA State

I am taking this time between the conference sessions to tell about some adventures I had this week!

First! I love conference!

So on Wednesday night I left for Layton to attend FBLA State! To my utter surprise I won first place in two divisions and therefor qualify for Nationals! :D :S crazy!

I really enjoy those who belong to my schools chapter of FBLA! They are some of my most favorite people! I really loved spending time with them. The unity of our group is awesome and made for a great weekend.

Nationals is the end of June beginning of July. It looks very EPIC!

Missionary Week

My Seminary Council has put together something splendid! Missionary week! I can feel how amazing this week can be transformed into.
What is truly amazing is how I was trying to add many parts of missionary week already in my life! But there is lots more I can be doing, such is life. :)
Recently I have been reading my grandmother's history book. What a special blessing it is to me. The stories are such beauty to my heart. I will expound later!
